This is my S13 done in Maya 8.5.

My first serious done car, hopefullt i will take on some other models later!

wow, nice render! but try to illuminate with "image _base_d lighting" to create more reflaction on car and reduce white glow. Look this:

Any tips or maybe tutorial on how this image _base_d lighting works?

The BMW was increibly well done, I've tried to render my car into a picture but the results are so crappy you just wanna die!

So any tips on how to render the car to make it look real?

Nice, although I think you can turn down the reflection overall for the paintwork.

Great video tutorial! but i can't get the sound to work, any clues?

So basically it's all about the HDRI image, and the quality of it that sets the standard?
I'm not supposed to use any lighting in IBL either? away with the spotlights and pin lights?

Any more tips on how to make a render look as real as possible?
