I tried adjusting the AA custom sampling and it didnt do anything. also, im not sure what you are referring to with the exposure bit.
here are a couple renders though, the first is with the PSaS multiplier set to .5, and thats the closest render i've gotten to what i want. the second has the multiplier at 1 and its just way too blown out. both of their colors though, are quite washed out and im not sure how to fix that.

and again, there just doesnt seem to be anyway to adjusted the PSaS shadows. i would like to add a little color and a bit more transparency to them
