Loved your tutorial on Phyiscal Sky
But I can not find Shadow Softness or samples to get nice soft shadows using Physical sky in Mental Ray
Any idea where its hidden now?

In your video its beneath haze... its not in mine when I open up the attribute editor

The possible cause is 2,

1 enable final gather
2 _link_ mia_exposure simple to camera in use

I think I am doing everything correct.... but still no soft shadow option

hi, disable global illumination and use raytracing and final gather. In the render have you post there is an fuck shadow effects. try to change sun direction inclination.

that material are you using? try a mia_material white without reflection and lowers the multiplier of phisical sun to 500 (un_link_ connection of the multiplier).
