i created a half of the face in maya and i looking for a mirror tool that can mirror not only the polygon but also the changes that i do to one side.
I tried mirror geometry and mirror cut but both of them don't mirror the changes i make to the original side. Is there a tool that can do that in maya?

You can do it. There is an option under duplicate special I think. I am at work at the momoent but when I get home I will have a look to jog my memory. It updates the mirrored side as you make changes to the original side.
