This video tutorial shows step by step various quick modeling techniques including curve extrude, surfaces, poly tube, Smooth, bevel, curve revolve, extrude, and more, to create a polygonal fan table.
Since every step is shown in the video, from an empty scene to a complete object creation, this videotutorial for maya is very suitable for beginners who know absolutely nothing about AUTODESK MAYA 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 8.5 yet. While normally you would want to use shortkeys for certain tasks, I've used the menu options to clearly show which option is used. A 'Right-Click' sign will be displayed whenever it isn't obvious you need to use the right mouse button instead of the left.
